Wesselton Shopping Centre is a 4500M² retail centre located in Wesselton, Ermelo. Anchored by Boxer with liquor, Pep, Ackermans, Mr Tekkieand various other line shops. The centre also has a Total filling station. RoofSpace acquired the solar plant and Eskom infrastructure that was already installed ( March 2019) and has taken long term lease of 25 yrs on the Rooftop. RoofSpace provides soft expense reduction by tenant electricity billing and roof management.

The Landlord “Lions River Farmers Exchange” is paid a roof rental for the entire GLA of the shopping centre under lease with 6% escalation. The inclusion of the RoofSpace lease has added to the capital value in Balance Sheet of the asset and improved ROI for the investors. The centres Weighted Average Lease Expiry (“WALE”) has also considerably increased in favour of the Landlord.
